Outdoor Wireless Project - Phase Two

The Wireless Team is in the very early stages of planning for a Phase Two implementation of the Outdoor Wireless Project. In this Conception & Initiation Phase, we are going to the drawing board to brainstorm our next target areas. We would like to expand the current outdoor coverage to include more of the highly trafficked areas on campus where we feel wireless signal will be utilized by the UCCS community.

With Phase 2, some areas we have initially discussed as hoping to target include:

• UC Upper plaza
• UC Lower plaza
• Telluride Quad
• Pan statue green space and picnic table area (between Telluride and Steamboat)
• Increased coverage in Village at Alpine Valley
• East end of CENT and near Crag Green
• ENGR steps and entrance area
